In recognition of their exceptional service delivery and effective coordination with Guinean authorities following the Conakry inferno in late December 2023, a high-level delegation from Guinea visited and decorated staff from the Petroleum Regulatory Agency (PRA) over two working days.
The Guinean head of delegation, also serving as the Prime Minister of Guinea, commended the sacrifices and efforts made by the PRA management to ensure the timely supply of petroleum products to Guinea's counterparts. Prime Minister Bernard Goumou expressed gratitude for the exceptional leadership and coordination demonstrated by the PRA's Executive Chairman and his dedicated team during this challenging period.
The Executive Chairman expressed his honour and excitement at receiving international recognition from the Guinean government. Chairman Baluwa emphasized the symbolic significance of the award, attributing it to his outstanding leadership and the dedication of PRA staff. He affirmed his commitment to advancing the agency's vision under the guidance of His Excellency Retired Brigadier President Julius Maada Bio.
